Abandoned cart automation with Shopify & Klaviyo apps

I am currently using Shopify's native abandoned cart automation to send out emails, however I am looking to get into Klaviyo. If I use Klaviyo for abandoned cart emails, do I need to disable the Shopify one so it doesn't send out two, or does Klaviyo override Shopify?

You need to disable Shopify if you want Klaviyo to send those emails. Keep this in mind though: Klaviyo will only send those emails to people who have consented to received email marketing messages while shopify will send them to everyone that made it to checkout.

There's more chances of further segmentation within Klaviyo if you split browse, cart and checkout flows. Shopify will only target checkout abandonment.

So I sort of have the same issue/question with Mailchimp - But cant see where to connect mailchimp for automation on Shopify. I have set up the automation emails in Mailchimp - Thank you
