add app extension in customers/login template

Hi, I have a public app under enlisting review. I was requested to conform to OS 2.0, instead of using script tag. My question is that the app extension is designed to work on the customer login template. However the template does not allow adding app blocks in theme editor. Any suggestion is appreciated.

If no better suggestion, I will use app embed instead to have it working like script tag.

I confirmed myself that the app embed block is the right solution and the only solution for customers/account template in both OS 2.0 theme or vintage theme. The benefit it is working better and secure than script tag. My application is to render info in customers/account template, unfortunately, the template does not support app block yet. Wish such template can support app block in future.
