Add attachment to shipping confirmation e-mail

Hello everyone,

we are looking for a way to send shipping confirmations to our customers via the backend and enrich them with a PDF file. This PDF file is not generated automatically but is scanned as soon as the goods are dispatched. We would like to send this PDF file to our customers with the shipping confirmation. Do you have experience in this?
