App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
Hello -
One of the most grueling parts of my process is when I add a product that has multiple sizes and colors resulting in a lot of variants and I have to do each one manually.
Is there an app or way to add 1 image to multiple variants? Saving me LOADS of time?
Cheers
Hi
You can specify the variant image during a csv file import so you could export your new products and variants then add the same image across same variants and reimport the file.
Otherwise you could set up your products in our product data management platform and we could set it to automatically map the image from product to all your variants so you only upload one image across all variants.

Tom
Thanks for the quick reply,
Which is this product management platform you speak of? And does it only work for 1 image across an entire product or can you set the image to certain variants?
I am scared to do csv, as I am prone to making mistakes and ruining things LMAO
Thanks,
Andrew
Hey Andrew
We prefer to automate things and do without csv files as they can be a pain! Through Channelup we can customise the logic to your requirements. If you want we can set up some sample data and go through the process with you and see if it something that will help you in the long term. No cost to demo it and setup as my team can work with you till you are happy. After that small monthly if you think its worth it. Shoot me an email to tom@channelup.io if you are interested to discuss further.
Obviously if there is a cheaper alternative like someone doing it through csv then I would usually advise that as not here to waste your money.

Tom
