Adding product to a sales channel on creation

Hi,

We are creating an app which ulitimately will be a sales channel. App will be used to import products from other system we develop to shopify and then use buybutton SDK to allow users buy products that are in shopify in our system.

What we are currently struggling with is adding product to our sales channel when we create it.

The process is:

1. User clicks the button to export data to shopify in our system (not Shopify app)

2. The System sends the data to our shopify app

3. Shopify app connects to shopify via the API and creates the product in the shop

I was not able to find any information about setting a default channels when you create a product through the API. Shopify support was also not able to help me.
