Hello, we have recently encountered an error with the Shopify Amazon sales channel when trying to upload new listings to Amazon for apparel products, specifically t-shirts. We have been using the Amazon sales channel for two years and never had an issue until the past few weeks.

Here is the error message: Amazon reported an error with this listing: A value is required for the "age_range_description" field.

I believe Amazon recently added this new required field, and Shopify's Amazon sales channel does not yet support it. We are unable to add new listings until this gets fixed!

I am having the same issue with new listings. I am unable to correct the error. Currently testing deleting the new listing and recreating it.

still having this issue.  this has been broken for way too long and it's negatively affecting our business.  tried reaching out to shopify support and apparently it's a known issue.

I just got off chat with Shopify. They instructed me to delete my listings from within Shopify, re-create the listings on Amazon, and then relink them to shopify. They claim this error goes away after a few days, but I don't believe it as I've seen the error persist for weeks. Their response is below.

...Thank you for patiently waiting, upon checking this is a known issue with Amazon. With that, we have prepared the next steps you should take in order to resolve this.

1. Kindly delete the listing from Amazon Sales Channel. Which will also delete the listing on Amazon.
2. After deleting the listing, you can create the listing within Amazon Seller Central with the required fields and link to the corresponding Shopify Product with the Link Products feature. Please know that this error has been known to clear itself after a few days. Thank you so much for your commendable patience and consideration...

@mmisek  thanks for the update.  yeah they told me to do that as well.  honestly creating the listings directly in amazon is a major pain, and way more work than doing it in the shopify amazon channel.  plus tbh directly creating the listings on amazon doesnt even work for me some of the time.  but yeah hopefully they get this sorted out soon!
