App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
I sell individual Items that can be assembled together. I need to be able to create a product page that is for kits. The kit product page would have suggested kits available. I can have a product page that has variants listed as "kits" but how do I have the Kits pull from the inventory of the individual products that are also sold separately?
App Selly displays individual products in bundle:

This way, the inventory works normally.
Thanks for the suggestion. This one does not quite fit what I am looking for. I am not looking for a upsell bundle, but rather a separate page of kits with set quantities of items grouped together.
I am currently testing the bundles app and so far it seems to fit the bill.
We have the same issue and are looking for a similar solution (single kit containing multiple products that will accurately adjust inventory of the native product(s) in Shopify). Did you find any other options? I came across a post referencing how to manage "Product Kits" in Shopify through an App - multiorders.com. Are you familiar with this one?
I have found something that works. Bundles app has been working great for me so far. No issues that I know of so far.

Is this the app you're using?
I am still looking for the perfect solution, but in the meantime, the above mentioned Bundles app by Gazebo is the best option. If you contact the developer, he will give you beta access to the metafields feature, which will open up lots of opportunities if you know your way around Liquid.
Only problem left for me is dealing with multiple sets in the cart and sets larger than 20 items, because `all_products[handle]` only supports 20 items at a time. Luckily, I only need all_products for the product photo and what I do is I simply display only the first 20 product photos, assuming that the 21st picture doesn't add that much value anymore anyways.
We are using MBC Bundles & Product PACK It works in principal. https://www.samandnala.com/collections/mask-bandana-sets The only thing it doesn't accomplish for us is our integration with Etsy. The challenge is that I need one item # that combines the 2 skus.
