I'm new to building apps for the Shopify ecosystem, and I'm really excited to get started. I have a strong background in AI and product development, specially chatbots and I'm looking for suggestions on what kind of app would be most helpful or in-demand right now in the Shopify App Store.

If you have any ideas or pain points you've noticed as a merchant or developer, I'd love to hear them. Also, I'd appreciate any tips on how to market and attract users once the app is built.

One area you might explore is subscription retention,  a lot of apps help set up subscriptions, but few focus on keeping customers from canceling. Features like churn prediction, automated save offers, or chatbot-based subscription management could really help merchants.

Talking to a few DTC brands can give you clearer insights. And once your app is built, early feedback and community engagement can go a long way in building trust.
