App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
Hi all,
It's been an exciting week following the approval and launch of our new app, Order Deadline 2, onto the Shopify App Store. We released a standalone new version of Order Deadline which has been build from the ground up utilising all the latest tools and tech from Shopify so it's a much faster and more scalable app with better features.
Despite the downside of launching a new app which comes with no review history and such, we wanted to keep supporting the original version of the app because the settings for version 1 don't translate well to version 2. It's also true that people generally don't like change so we want to give merchants the option and time to upgrade when they're ready.
The launch of a new app requires a new App Store listing. I was wondering if you guys could take a look and provide any feedback so we can correct anything that might be confusing, or is perhaps not presented as well as could be - when you work on something for so long you stop picking up on small things that might be glaring and obvious to a fresh pair of eyes.
Overall I like the page and screenshots, but what you do think? Do they demonstrate what the app does well enough? is the text on the screenshots too much or too little? Are the listed features presented in a way which sells the app well?
Critiquing the page myself, I can't help but feel the video poster image could be better, with a larger logo set on the green background. The "play" button sits on top and covers a lot of the app's logo and I think it would stand out more to fill the image more with the logo, but I don't want to make it too overpowering. Any thoughts on this?

Thanks so much for taking the time.
