App Proxy Page Refreshes Every 30 Seconds

I have an app proxy page setup and rendering correctly, except the page seems to refresh every 30 seconds. The page is created with Phoenix LiveView which controls the UI through a web socket connection. The main action on the page that is triggered by a button click also isn't triggering. Everything works as expected when accessing the same page without going through the app proxy. Has anyone run into something similar? Has anyone else had issues with web socket connections on the app proxy pages?
