My website provides online services of consultation and I want customer to give some idea about their query before booking appointment. Is their any app that allows to add custom field that customers can feel ? Please help me out with this.

There are several ways to allow customers to share additional information with their orders. Here are some options:

 

  1. Enable cart notes: If you need just a few sentences from your customer,s then you can enable cart notes where they can leave additional information for you. Once they place an order, the note will be visible on the order page. Here is how to enable cart notes.
  2. Use an app: You can use a Shopify app like Customify, which allows customers to upload files/notes to your store during checkout or on product pages. You can search "custom fields" to find other options in the app store as well. 
  3. Custom code: If you have experience with coding, you can add custom code to your Shopify store to allow for file uploads. This can be done following the advanced tutorial for file upload found in our Community topic Product pages - Get customization information for products. If you don’t feel comfortable editing code, you can post a job on the Shopify Experts Page and see what feedback and quotes you get.

Hi @Shivani3 - I'd recommend you as well suggestions #1 or #3 from @Iris.

 

Depending on your needs, it may also be interesting to use a different solution for booking appointments like calendl y or similar
