APP to validate maxium for a produt and a customer in all orders

Hi,

Do you know if there is any APP that can create a maxium quanty that each customer can by in all sales orders?

Ex: product XPTO - Maxium quanty for customer 3 UN

Customer A by 2 UN in sales order 1

Customer A can by just 1 UN in sales order 2

Could you share why you need to do this?

Or private message me the reason if sensitive.

While there are several "max" quantity style apps so far don't believe any have way to do a lifetime max per customer.

This is normally something you'd need a combination of apps, theme customizations to pull off.

Keeping in mind most all solutions are limited. For example they of course don't check addresses between accounts for people trying to circumvent the limit by making new accounts; that's an entirely different process you'd have to have solutions for.

If customer accounts are required to view the store/product this can be handled via a theme customization to handle this logic.

Another way is to make a unique product per customer, then use an inventory app to sync all that "unique" products to the main products inventory. To only let the customer see their unique product you'd use an app like locksmith. Lots of setup here.

There are also apps like usemechanic apps.shopify.com/mechanic that let you script such a process either through the use of draft orders OR by rejecting any orders placed by customers no longer allowed to purchase more.

A free crude manual way is to also use shopify's fraud filter to just blacklist those customers once the limit is reach to auto-reject their orders.

In our store, registration in needed and of course we know that customers can create other accounts.

But in that moment we  don´t have any validation and we have critical products that can not be sell all quanties to a one customer.

So, you don´t know any app, correct?
