Home Care Package System

Under The Australian Governments Home Care / NDIS packages approved elderly or disabled people can receive up to 100% of their supplements paid for by their home care provider under the scheme.

Under the Government sponsored packages approved applicants can order product without requiring payment at the time of order and their home care / NDIS provider is invoiced for the products they purchase. The provider will then pay OE independently of the customer.

To take advantage of this opportunity we need functionality on our website where a customer can establish an account with OE which also has their home care provider details so an invoice on order can be sent to their home care provider for payment by the provider. We will need to be able to develop a database of aged care providers we work with which has their name, address, email, contact details. This can then be the source of a drop-down menu where the customer can select their provider from the list of approved providers we have relationships with. This will then allocate the order to a provider so an invoice can be generated. The invoice then needs to be automatically sent via email to the provider for payment. Ideally this links to a debtors system which keeps details of outstanding invoices and can also be matched against payments received from the provider.

In summary we need the following:

  1. A databased of aged care providers with their associated information for invoicing.
  2. A client database (which can be a modified version of the existing customer database.) which also has the provider details for each client.
  3. The ability on the payment screen for clients to push a button which sends them into the Home Care / NDIS screen where they simply need to authorise an invoice to be sent to their home care provider.
  4. It would also be good if we could modify the existing subscription app so that instead of payment being made by credit card it can be linked to the invoicing system. That way these customers will be able to order on subscription and the payment will be invoiced instead of debited to their credit card.
  5. The orders then need to fit into the current order management and other Shopify reporting.

This is obviously a high-level summary, and I am sure there will be a lot more detailing required.

Hi Pragon, we hired someone in Upwork to create a custom program for us instead. No other app has the capabilities we need.

This is a HUGE ask, but is there any chance you can email me your upwork contact so I can ask them to do the same for me????  It would be so much easier to use the same person.  My email is [email protected]    Thanks in advance if you can.
