App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
Hello, I have setup my Shopify store but it's not allowing me to add apps like Bump and Honeycomb and some others. It states their not compatible. Can someone tell what may be wrong?
Hi, @LO47.
Which plan is your store currently subscribed to?
For context, the message you're seeing can be seen on stores that have recently moved away from the Lite subscription plan, or have just added the Online Store sales channel. It can take up to 12 hours for the system to process the change to your store internally, after which you'll be able to install apps once more. It may be possible to install an app within 12 hours of this change, if you log in to your Shopify admin via a different device. Have you tried this on your end?
If it's been more than 12 hours, or if your store meets the requirements of the app but are still seeing the error message, you can contact our live support team so that we can investigate this matter in more detail from our end.
To get in touch with our team, you'll need to login to your store via our Help Center here. Once logged in, select a topic that best fits your query or situation. From there, you'll be taken to a page with a list of relevant support articles, and you can scroll to the bottom of that page to select your preferred contact method with our team.

Hello @LO47.,
This is Gina from flareAI app helping Shopify merchants get $5Million+ in sales from Google Search, on autopilot.
There could be several reasons why your Shopify store is not allowing you to add certain apps.
1. Compatibility
Some apps may not be compatible with your theme or other apps installed in your store. Make sure to check the compatibility of the app with your store before trying to install it.
2. App requirements
Certain apps may have specific requirements or prerequisites that need to be met before they can be installed. Check the app's documentation to ensure that your store meets all the necessary requirements.
3. Store settings
Make sure that your store settings are configured properly. Some apps may require specific settings to be enabled or disabled, so it's important to check your store's settings to make sure everything is set up correctly.
4. App restrictions
Some apps may have certain restrictions based on your location, industry, or other factors. Check to see if there are any restrictions on the app you are trying to install.
If you are still having trouble adding the apps, it may be helpful to reach out to Shopify's customer support team or the app developers for assistance.
