Back in stock notification - email provider

hey all,

I am looking for the back in stock notification app, in which you can send emails using your own email service, like MS O365 Exchange

I have checked several already but all of them are sending the notification emails through their email servers, with their branding in "from" (so that the Customer sees that the email is not in fact from my domain but from some third-party strange domain). This will cause many problems, including people will suspect SCAM etc

please help, is there an app where I can use my own mail server to send emails?

thank you!

Hi Maciej  @manticore776

As far as we're concerned, email apps on Shopify or other platforms need email server to mass send your emails.

Hey @manticore776! The previous reply is not correct. While apps need their own servers, you can in fact use your own "From" address to send back in stock alerts. We have this feature on Stoq - one of Shopify's top-rated apps for back in stock alerts and preorders.

There are 2 steps involved in setting it up -

1. Enter the address you want to send from, and verify it by clicking the link you get in the inbox.

2. Add 3 records in your domain provider's dashboard to complete DKIM authentication.

That's it! After you do this, all emails sent from Stoq will use your From address and your store's name. When your customers get the email, it will look and appear like it's coming from your store - just like all the other emails. 🙂

We have a generous free plan available on the app and 24*7 support to help with almost anything.
