Best integration for automated inventory tracking for quantity variants

Among many other things, we sell beads to hospitals to support kids with cancer. I believe we had a quantity break app installed to manage the bead portion of our inventory back in 2013 and that app was also discontinued not long after. I'm trying to figure out the best app to help us navigate our set up. For each bead, the price changes depending on quantity purchased. Quantities are: 1x, 10+, 25+, 100+. The higher the quantity, the lower the price.

As an example of what we need:

If we have a total of 1,000 chemo beads, and someone orders 500, we need the inventory for the 100+ quantity to change accordingly, as well as the total amount, without interfering with one another. Once the total number of beads is below 100, we need that bead to be out of stock for the 100+ variant. As of now, when someone tries to order in bulk and that quantity is unavailable, their cart simply ejects the bead and glitches. This is most likely because as of now, the total quantity per bead is listed under the 1x variant and the other quantity variants are at 0 - if we try to change them, it interferes with the total number we have in stock. We need the customer to simply be informed that the bulk amount of that product is unavailable.

Material Manager is able to do this. You would create a raw material of each bead type and then link each variant to the material specifying how much of it is required.

When any variants are sold it will deduct the appropriate amount of beads and then update the inventory of all other variants linked to that bead. For example say you have 500 beads and you have a 100 and 500 variant. Then you sell 1 x 100 variant, the bead amount in the app will drop to 400. The inventory for the 100 variant will now be 4 and the 500 variant will be 0.

You can try the Easify Inventory Sync app, which helps you create bundle inventory groups to link different variants (e.g., 10, 25, 100 units) with a primary "1" variant that reflects the total stock.

With this setup:

- The available quantity for the 10/25/100 variants will be automatically calculated based on the total quantity shown by the "1" variant.
- When the "1" variant is purchased, reducing the total inventory, the app recalculates the available quantities for the 10/25/100 variants.
- Conversely, if a 10/25/100 variant is purchased, the corresponding amount is deducted from the total quantity of the "1" variant, and the app updates the quantities for all other variants accordingly.

This creates an automated inventory tracking loop to ensure accurate stock management 🤗.
