App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
Hi there-
Hoping for a single app that can solve multiple needs:
1. We need to create bundles of products and be able to display the bundle for sale either via pop-up or embed on product page.
2. We need the bundles to sync to our inventory to update individual product inventory correctly - we're using Shopify inventory tracking.
3. We have single SKUs that apply to multiple products and need to track the inventory of those single SKUs accurately.
Any recs? Or are there built-in Shopify functionalities that I'm overlooking?
Ted
Here is my solution for you:
1. You can set bundle and edit the product detail on your product page.
2. If you have orders comes in, you can use third party app to fulfill your orderes, which can help you source your orders; set as a bundle and ship globally.
Not sure if I answer your questions.
Hi Ted
This is a common issue for our users where they have 1 product inventory but it is on multiple variants/products and once sells they want all linked products to have stock adjusted.
What you do is use a backend driven app like Bundleup to link all the component SKUs for each variation. You set up your products in Shopify admin as any other product and describe them accordingly as there are no theme edits required.
The app has 2 main features that helps you manage inventory levels.
1. Inventory of Products
Lets you connect up your products/variants to components and it then updates the inventory based on the component stock level. So when one component stock goes to zero the other linked products will also update to zero.
2. Inventory of Components
When you sell one of these products the stock level won't reduce automatically. What we do is update the order post purchase by replacing the order line with the component SKUs as order lines which then reduces their stock. This then feeds into point 1 above where it updates all linked products.

Hi @tedvmg
This is Jun from Bundle Kit.
You might want to consider using our app. We have an article on how to display the bundle price as a sale price: https://help.bundlekit.io/displaying-bundle-price-as-a-sale-price
Also, here are a few articles on how to create a bundle using our app:
Multi-pack bundle: https://help.bundlekit.io/creating-a-multi-pack-bundle
Mix and match bundle: https://help.bundlekit.io/creating-a-mix-match-bundle
Multi-variant bundle: https://help.bundlekit.io/creating-a-multi-variant-bundle
Our app is primarily a bundle inventory management system so it will also be able to track the SKUs for variants of each product.
The bundle inventory is automatically set based on the available inventories of the bundle item(s), including the inventories of the variants. Proper quantity will also be taken out of the inventory of each bundle that is being purchased.
Let us know if you have any questions.
Thanks, Jun. I will check it out!
Hi @tedvmg,
Absolutely, you can accomplish this using Simple Bundles.
1. By leveraging the "Compare at Price" feature within our app, the original price of the bundle will be showcased alongside the discounted price on the storefront.
2. Simple Bundles adjust the inventory of the parent bundle based on the items this means that our app will recalibrate the inventory based on the quantity of the bundle that can be sold, given the current inventory of its components. We have a feature available through the app where you can automatically sync inventory for bundle quantities.
3. Indeed, this is entirely feasible with Simple Bundles. You have the ability to set all your individual SKUs to be tracked by quantity. This ensures that every time an order is placed, your inventory quantities can be adjusted appropriately based on the number of items available for sale in the bundle.
To start, you can establish a basic product on Shopify that includes either your bundle variants or the individual products that constitute the bundle.
Shopify provides you with the flexibility to update a product description or upload images for your bundle. If you wanted to sell these individual SKUs individually or sell them exclusively through bundles, it is indeed possible.
A quick screen recording here shows how it should look on the storefront. https://share.getcloudapp.com/Qwuwx9L9
On your Shopify admin, you'll see the bundle along with its individual SKUs added to the order.

Hi @tedvmg,
You can also consider using the Easify Product Options app to address your specific needs. This versatile tool enables the creation of a bundled product composed of existing items with distinct SKUs. When customers purchase the bundle, the inventory of the included products is automatically adjusted 🤗.
The process involves the following steps:
Below is an example:
When a customer buys the Sweater Set and selects specific sizes for Sweater and Sweater Pant, the inventories of Sweater and Sweater Pant are automatically adjusted based on the purchase.
