I'm currently using Shopify's Bundle app to create bundles of up to 4 items and am having problem with the variants' colour/image swatches. I'll use one of the bundles with 2 products in it as an example for my problem.
Bundle A has two products, each product has two different colour options. I've set up this bundle through Shopify's Bundle app. The problem I'm facing is that when I select an image to be used as an image swatch preview (for the colour selection on the product page) for one of the first items in the bundle, it also becomes the image for both the colour variants of second item in the bundle.
If you can imagine, this is what it looks like right now on our website product page, which is not ideal:
Product 1 | |
Colour variation 1 | Colour variation 2 |
Image 1 | Image 2 |
Product 2 | |
Colour variation 1 | Colour variation 2 |
Image 1 | Image 1 |
I've asked Shopify support and they suggested a pretty complicating work around, which I'd prefer not to do, or to use a third party app- does anyone have a suggestion for an app that can help me with this?
Hi @eschu 😊 Could you please share the URL of your product bundle so I can better understand your case? Also, regarding the color/image swatches for variants, which app or method are you using to implement them?
Warmly,
Ellie from BOGOS (#1 Shopify Promotion App)!
Hi Ellie,
Thanks for replying!
Here's one of the urls (there's three bundles facing this issue). I edited/inserted the image swatch directly through the Shopify product page settings under the variants section.
Hi @eschu
You might want to try Easify Product Options – it allows you to create flexible, unlimited image swatches for each product in your bundle. You can assign a different image to each variant, and it won’t mess up other products’ swatches.
The best part? It’s super easy to use, fully no-code, and doesn’t require attaching your options to a master product. Perfect if you’re looking for more control without the setup headaches. Here's how it work:
I hope this answer helps solve the problem. If you need further assistance, feel free to reach out to Easify anytime! 🤗
