Can a countdown timer replace the Add to Cart button before product launch?

Hi all,

I need to launch a new collection, the products won't be for sale until a certain date but we need them live so customers can preview. I'd like to use the Countdown timer for this, but can it hide the Add to Cart button?

I need the add to cart button hidden on all pages, the countdown can replace the button, that would actually be perfect.

So far I only see scarcity countdown timers which is not what I need.

Hi @DavidModus 

You could hide the buy button by yourself and enable the countdown timers by installing a third-party app.

To hide your buy button, please follow these steps below:

• From Online Store > Theme > Customize.
• On the top dropdown menu, select Product > Default Product.
• Within the sidebar menu, click on a small triangle on the left of the Product information section
• Scroll down to the Buy button and click the eye symbol to hide it.

Thanks, it's for a collection, not the entire site so hiding the button won't work. Plus that would only affect the product page, if would still be possible to add the product via other pages.
