This is an accepted solution.
Yes, building a SaaS app in Shopify to track online orders from different Shopify stores is doable. There are already apps available in the Shopify App Store that offer similar functionalities. These apps typically provide a centralized dashboard where users can monitor and manage orders from multiple Shopify stores in one place.
Advantages of such an app include:
1. Centralized Order Management:
- Users can conveniently view and manage orders from various Shopify stores in a single interface.
2. Efficient Tracking:
- Real-time tracking and monitoring of orders streamline the management process.
3. Analytics and Reporting:
- The app could potentially offer analytics and reporting features to provide insights into order trends, performance, and more.
4. Time-saving:
- Merchants with multiple stores can save time by avoiding the need to switch between different Shopify dashboards.
Before developing your app, it's a good idea to explore existing apps in the Shopify App Store that offer order tracking across multiple stores. This will help you understand the competition and identify any unique features you can incorporate into your app.
Additionally, consider reaching out to potential users or store owners to gather feedback on the idea. Understanding their needs and pain points can help you tailor your app to better meet the requirements of the target audience.
Remember to comply with Shopify's guidelines and API terms of service when building your app. Good luck with your SaaS app development!

Hi @Samia_Akram22,
First of all thank you very much for your kind, fruitful, and professional reply.
I am happy that you like my idea.
According to the research and the competition I have already done some, but to be honest the only apps for Orders tracking I found, where for the Shops/Business owners a not for the consumers buying online. If you know or have any specific in mind please do not hesitate to contact me.
According to talking to Shops/Business owners about my idea I am still wondering if there is any added value for them from my future app. Also I was thinking what approach to take in pointing the right ones to talk to, because there are a lot of them on the platform. And last but not least I will have to contact them anyways because my app will have to somehow get the data from theirs shop's data base (OAuth).

Hi, @Marcin-A @jennydav
I must say your idea is feasible. It seems like TrackingMore is what you want to build.
It is an all-in-one shipment tracking platform that allows customers to manage and monitor shipments across multiple stores from a single dashboard, making it easier to keep track of all your orders in one place. This capability is particularly useful for businesses that operate multiple Shopify stores, as it centralizes tracking and improves efficiency in order management. Moreover, TrackingMore has integrated with over 1200 carriers and ranks in the top five in the "order tracking" software category, which is the best logistic solution for e-commerce and businesses.
So if you’re interested in exploring more features before your app’s building, you can click here to experience a 14-day free trial.
Hope you can make it!
