Can an app assign unique booking numbers to each order member?

Hi,

We are looking for someone to create software which will allow our customers on Shopify to add various members of their family/party to the order and once paid, a unique booking reference number be attached to each of the various members. That this information is automatically given to the customer, perhaps through the invoice and that we can access these reference numbers, perhaps through the orders in the notes or in some way which is searchable for us.

Does anyone know if this already exists or if it is doable?
