Can an app help add digital product options to physical items?

I have a store that creates custom paintings and prints them on canvas, t-shirts etc.
I want the option to create a digital product only as an add-on to the physical products. 
The digital file will be created within 48 hours from the order. 
Is there an app that can help me with that?
