Can API identify the type of Store Front version used?

I am building an app that I'd like to support both legacy storefronts, and storefronts using Store Front 2.0. I'd like the admin panel/ onboarding to look slightly different depending on the type of storefront a user has.

Is there an endpoint that might tell me whether a storefront was on the legacy version or the new version?
