Hi Leo

Thanks for posting!  I'm Chris from BookThatApp a Shopify booking app.

BookThatApp offers a couple of calendar options for tour bookings.  You can add a traditional calendar where the customer can choose their dates and see available tours or there is a list version that offers a list of upcoming events.   The app also supports a tour calendar that lets you show customers all tours.  The app supports booking multiple ticket types  (ie. Adult and Child) at the same time and also supports attaching a tour ticket to the booking to send to the customer.

You can check out our demo site to see how the app works on a Shopify store or feel free to drop us a line at support@zetya.com  if you would like some additional information.

Cheers,

Chris

Greetings, @leovazquez.

Thank you for reaching out and posting this question!

It's awesome to hear that you'll be selling tours, that's super exciting! There are a couple of different options that you can consider for adding a calendar to your store, such as simply displaying a calendar on the cart page to displaying separate calendars for each of your products. That being said, let's go over some of these options.

  1. Adding a delivery date picker to your cart can be easily accomplished by modifying your theme, which is something that our Theme Support team can help you with if you're using a Shopify-supported theme. This option can be suitable if you have an open schedule and you're willing to work around your customers' schedules.
  2. Using a third-party booking app, like BookThatApp or Sesami: Appointment Booking, which can provide more management tools and allow you to take bookings for individual products. This is more suitable if you have a lot of different bookings and require certain functionalities, such as being able to block off certain dates or setting limitations/conditions. If you need any help with one of these third-party apps, then the app developers is always available to assist you - you can reach out to them directly through the contact information found in the Support section of their app pages.

I'd love to hear more about your business! What kind of tours are you selling? How often are your tours? Have you sold tours before with a different platform?

Hi @leovazquez

Awesome, what kind of tours are you selling? I'd love to hear more. My name is Aimee and I am from indietravel.co

We built the indie: Experiences app for Shopify to give tour hosts like you an easy e-commerce tool to supercharge your tour business. Over and above being able to use the app within your Shopify store to accept online bookings, you are also able to integrate to various channels (TripAdvisor, Expedia, Hotels networks etc) to sell your tours there and manage your scheduling and analytics in one single tool.

You can find out more about the app here https://apps.shopify.com/indie-experiences or feel free to schedule in a call with me so that I can answer your questions and show you a demo. If you shoot me a DM we can arrange a time for that.

Best Regards,
Aimee @ indie
