Can I set a maximum order quantity for specific products?

Is there a way to limit the Qty of a specific product someone can order? For example I want SKU 1 to be limited to 2 maximum per order.

If you want to set a restriction on the quantity of a specific product then you can try the MultiVariants - Bulk Order app. With this app, If you can set a minimum or maximum limit on quantity for an order, your customer must take that minimum quantity. Also, they can't exceed the maximum quantity that you'll set. You can check the Demo product that has a maximum limit to place an order.

@BTBInfo  If your want limit quantity then you can use "KOR Order Limit" app. This app can help you with restrict purchases with min & max limits on product quantity, variants, order amount, items in cart.

Hi @BTBInfo If you are still looking for a solution to this, you can try using the Chekout Gurdian App, that restricts purchases based on the order quantity for example you can only order maximum 2 products of X SKU.

1. Add Tags to Your Product: Go to your Shopify admin and add tags to SKU 1. You can do this by editing the product details and adding relevant tags.

2. Create a Rule in the DC Order Limits App: Open the DC Order Limits app and create a new rule.

3. Set Maximum Quantity: Within the rule settings, set the "Maximum Quantity" to 2.

4. Select Product Variant Under Grouping Options: Ensure you select the product variant for SKU 1 under the grouping options.

5. Product Eligibility: For product eligibility, select "Products with Specific Tags" and add the tags you created in step 1.

This will limit the order quantity of SKU 1 to 2 per order. If you need more detailed steps or run into any issues, feel free to reach out!

You can set a minimum order quantity for specific products easily using the Cart Lock https://apps.shopify.com/cart-lock app. Here is how you can do it:

1. Open the app and click on the "Add a new rule" button.
2. Click "Add a new condition" and select the "Single item quantity" then add 2 or any other number in the "Block if more than" field.
3. Click "Add a new condition" again and select the "Products" and add your SKU 1 product.
4. In the "Error message" field, add an appropriate message which will be displayed in the checkout page.
5. Save the rule.

Now your are customers are limited to buy up to 2 items for the selected items.
