Can reinstalling a product review app delete all past reviews?

Hi!

I have a client that have reinstalled Product reviews. Not sure exactly how, but assuming uninstall and then install again. And now all the reviews are gone. "You haven't recieved any reviews yet".

Is the reviews stored locally in the app and not in a database? Is there any way possible to get them back?
