Can't connect my online store to Facebook, what can I do?

I'm having significant trouble connecting my shopify store to facebook. When I add the facebook sales channel in shopify, I see no options to do anything. When I try to connect from facebook using integration, I can't get the pixel to verify as active. I've tried several browsers as well. Please help.

Thanks, but I have read this and many other articles on the subject. All of the prerequisites are met. I get stuck on step 3 below because the Facebook sales channel app is literally a blank page. I don’t see “start setup.”

From your Shopify admin, click + next to SALES CHANNELS.
Click + next to Facebook, and then click Update sales channel.
For each sales channel that you want to install, click Start setup.
Click Connect account.
Complete the set up and then click Finish setup.
