Can't find Oberlo and Spocket on Shopify for dropshipping furniture?

Hi!  We hadn’t launch our shop yet and we are looking for dropshipping solution of high end furniture, art and decor.;.

I read that oberlo and Spocket would be best but I can’t find these apps in Shopify. I also don’t know if it cost anything but I prefer to see all their products prior choosing the platform I would possibly pay for.

Could someone elaborate on how to sync these to my Shopify and explore the brands/creators/products?

thank you

Hi, @brana. I'm happy to help you out with this! Can you tell me more about the store you're hoping to create and the products you'd like to sell? The reason I ask is to make sure I'm giving you helpful advice going forward.

You can find dropshipping apps that integrate with Shopify in the app store here. The Oberlo app has been sunset so it's no longer available. However, if you are interested in Oberlo you may want to consider using the Dsers app since it has the same core features Oberlo did. You can also find the Spocket app listing here

The exact process you need to follow to sync these apps to your Shopify store will depend on the app you choose. That being said, you can find more information on how to do this for each app under the Support or Resources sections on the app's listing page in the app store.

Please let me know if you have any questions! This guide on the best dropshipping suppliers and this guide on dropshipping can also help in the meantime.

I would be cautious with the cr**ppy apps offering dropshipping on Shopify (i.e HyperSKU, Eprolo, AutoDS, "Shein" and others). They're not actual dropshipping apps. They're Chinese sc_ams. First of all, they're already priced at full retail price, and 300-500% the actual retail price in China. These companies are selling their own products at full retail price with huge margins, pretending they are from AliExpress and what not, and want to deceive you to spend enormous time, money and effort market to sell their product for their profits. You can never  get refunds from them when they swindle you in these sales and you're stuck to pay your customers back for their shoddy promises and poor quality goods. You can't actually add sufficient margins to manage all fees, returns, damaged items, marketing costs and lost packages.

Second, they don't actually dropship. You have to manually add products in a tedious system that will make you pull your hair out. That's not dropship at all. Actual dropship automates the whole process for you. And if you listen to feedback (not the fake reviews they add themselves) you will find that the products are 1) poor quality, 2) delivery is completely unreliable with fake tracking codes, 3)  the lack of verified delivery and reliable delivery will get your Amazn or eBay account (if you have one) permanently banned and blacklisted.

So, be careful with the low quality tr**sh in the Shopify app store, which frankly should never be listed there. It's unfathomable that Shopify even recommends these sham apps to people! I understand many Shopify users are newbies and may not be aware how to detect these shams before they embark on losing a lot of money and worktime learning the hard way. But it's unacceptable that Shopify endorses these apps.

Shopify must add a feature where scam apps can be reported. They don't. Instead, they seem to encourage them!
