Can't reinstall ebay

Hello, used to have eBay as one of my channels and it was useful as I got some sales that way. Recently I realised that the eBay channel was not available when I listed new products. When I try to add it it comes up with Web page could not be loaded because of HTTP_RESPONSE_CODE_FAILURE. I have not been able to edit the items on eBay at the eBay end. Are Shopify and eBay not in sync now? I have lots of new products I want to put on Shopify and sync to eBay!

Hi, @Sarah_Cant!

Thanks for reaching out in our Community forums and for sharing your concern, I’d be happy to help.

I understand that you have been using the eBay app to sync your products and create listings. Unfortunately, this app is not currently available on the Shopify App Store. To continue managing your eBay listings through Shopify, you will need to migrate to a third party app. Of course you can always manage your listings on the eBay website directly at any time.

If you have support questions, please contact eBay Inc. directly as they may be able to provide you with more context and recommendations.

While on this topic, I wanted to share a list of marketplaces that you can potentially sync your products to through Shopify. Kindly reply back to this thread with any questions or updates and we can continue our conversation further!

Hello @Sarah_Cant,

Good day! Gina from flareAI app helping Shopify merchants get $6Million+ in sales from Google Search, on autopilot.

HTTP_RESPONSE_CODE_FAILURE is usually an error that indicates a communication problem between Shopify and eBay. This can be caused by a number of issues such as network connectivity, server issues or even firewall settings.

You can try the following to troubleshoot this issue.

1. Check your internet connection
Make sure you have a stable internet connection as a poor connection can cause communication issues.

2. Check your firewall settings
If you have a firewall or antivirus software installed, try disabling it temporarily and see if it resolves the issue.

3. Clear your browser cache and cookies
Clearing your browser cache and cookies can help resolve any temporary issues that may be causing the error.

4. Contact Shopify support
If the issue persists, contact Shopify support and explain the issue to them. They can help you troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

5. Contact eBay support
If you're unable to edit items on eBay, contact eBay support and explain the issue to them. They can help you troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

In terms of syncing new products from Shopify to eBay, you can try disconnecting and reconnecting the eBay channel in Shopify. This can sometimes help resolve any syncing issues. Additionally, make sure that all the required product information is complete and accurate, including item specifics and pricing.
