Can we create vape store on Shopify with speed optimization?

Hi Shopify Community,

We have started RandM Welt Vape store on WordPress but we have faced some issues like High LCP, FLP, and other speed optimization issues. Our core web vitals have failed due to this.

Can Shopify allow us to make store on this platform with high speed optimization? You can check website to check core web vitals and other speed optimization issues.

@Xeric poor core web vitals is very common for websites, especially you install a bunch of third-party tools (like tracking, pixel, etc), regardless which platform runs your site, it works the same way. Shopify is no magic here - if you simply migrate your web pages/contents from Wordpress to Shopify, you will end up with the same poor score. I would suggest looking the reasons for the high LCP etc and do some technical analysis on the web page assets (e.g. images, scripts, etc). There're also tons of speed optimisation plugins on Wordpress.

So either Shopify or Wordpress, you can achieve high score (especially mobile score), but it requires efforts on the optimisation.
