Can we render snippets to our OS2.0 theme app extension blocks?

Recently we are upgrading our application to support the OS2.0 theme app extension functionality.

I am curious to know that is there any feasibility that we can render any snippets to our embedded app blocks?
Or is there any workaround for that?

Why do we need this?

A few of our application's feature includes the Store Design which requires lots of Custom Design based on store theme-specific and we don't want to limit our design ability due to a few technical issues/error.

Currently, we are managing custom designs using a few single snippets files.

Which can contain liquid/HTML/CSS/js codes.
