Can we test shipping without upgrading our Store plan (product count limit)?

We are currently in the process of testing our store, and we would like to test our shipping app (Bespoke shipping). Currently we have over 3500 products, which necessitates upgrading our Shopify plan. Can we somehow test the shipping without upgrading our plan? We would prefer to not pay for the upgraded plan when the store isn't active and we are simply testing functionality.

Thank you for posting, and welcome to the Shopify Community! Currently, there is no way to test carrier-calculated shipping rates without the feature active on your Shopify plan. However, you do not need to upgrade to a new Shopify plan, you can also add this feature as a monthly add-on for $20 a month. Additionally, it is available for free on any annual subscription. Thus, if you plan on using Shopify for at least one year, you can receive this feature free even with the Basic Plan.

In the meantime, I can see how this would be a beneficial feature to allow for testing of calculated rates, so I have submitted a feature request on your behalf. I cannot guarantee when/if this option will be provided but can assure you are developers will review it as a possible feature!
