Can you receive products that have been archived?

I'm in the process of archiving all products with quantities of less than 1.  The only thing I'm worried about is unintended consequences for products that are on open PO's.  What happens if I archive a product that's on an open PO in Stocky, and then I receive that PO?  Will the product remain archived in Shopify?  If so, will Shopify notify me that that product is still archived, or automatically unarchive it for me?
