Check-out and contact box

My store check-out will not let my customers go pass “compan and apt.,and suites. I have lost customers. This need to be corrected NOW.   Please help!!!!!!

I need a contact box for customers comments. I created it, it does not show.

From what you're describing, it sounds like the Company name and Address line 2 (apartment, unit, etc.) fields on the information page at the checkout are currently set to be required. I understand that not all customers need to fill these out, so these fields can be changed to become hidden or optional. You can follow the steps below to make changes to these checkout fields.

  1. In your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Checkout.
  2. Scroll down to the Form options section.
  3. Select Hidden, Optional, or Required under Company name and Address line 2 (apartment, unit, etc.).
  4. Click Save.

Your customers will then be able to go to the next page without having to enter information in the fields irrelevant to them. You can test this by simply adding a product to the cart and going through the first pages of your checkout or by doing a test order.

Now, let's discuss the contact box. Are you referring to a contact page where customers can reach out to you for any questions or feedback? If so, we have a tutorial on adding one on this page. If this is different from how you initially attempted to add a contact page, it may help!
