Checkout extensibility - Basic Plan

Greetings,

I am currently developing a checkout extension for Shopify and making it available for all Shopify plans, including Basic. However, when I try to install my app via custom distribution in a store whose plan is Basic, I cannot add my extension to the store as it does not have Checkout Extensibility.

What I find weird is that in Shopify documentation it is mentioned that the Thank you & Order status extensions are available for all plans, except initial, as shown in the screenshot below;

Even at this page (https://shopify.dev/docs/apps/build/checkout#checkout-ui-extensions) is stated that it's available since May 2024 for all plans above Started.

Can anyone clarify this situation for me? Thanks.

Bump, I have the same problem. Can a custom checkout ui app be added to the checkout in a Basic plan?
