We are searching for a collection filter application that can meet our specific needs. We've done a lot of testing and researching on our own, but nothing is quite right. This is a last ditch effort before we have to resign to hiring someone to build us exactly what we need from scratch. Recommendations are more than welcome.
Our site currently uses the Prestige theme. Prestige does have a filter built into its settings, but this filter can only be used with tags. I have not found a way to automatically remove a size tag when that size's inventory reaches 0. Even if I could do this, I feel the multiple locations would be an issue.
Our needs:
- Real-time sync: Our business model is strongly based on the ability to schedule products and have them go live right at the time they are scheduled.
- Ability to set location within the app: Our Shopify store has multiple locations and each location has an important purpose. We need to be able to set up our filter to pull information from only one of these locations so we can give our customers accurate information, specifically surrounding sizing filtration.
Already tested:
- Collection Filter by Supple: Has real-time sync. Does not allow us to set a location within the app. It pulls information from all of our locations, which meant it was telling customers a size was available because it had inventory at our retail location, but when the customer would go to the product that size would actually be sold out in our website location.
- Product Filter & Search by Boost Commerce: Does not allow for real-time sync. Products would be scheduled to go live, but would not actually appear in the collections until 10-30 minutes after they launched. We reached out to them and asked for a solution. They told us to manually sync it as soon as products should have gone live, but that did absolutely nothing. We were, however, able to set the location.
- Collection Filter & Search Bar by SoBooster: Claimed it offered real-time sync, but there were several issues with it. Products were delayed about five minutes and appeared at the bottom of the collection rather than at the top where they had been set.
- Instant Search & Smart Filters by CloudSearch: Did not offer the ability to set location, even with code.
If anyone has any recommendations or suggestions that could help us solve this issue, they would be greatly appreciated.
