Configurator App for Directing Customer to a Product

I think I am having a vernacular issue with a developer as I am getting "custom" back as the answer to my question no matter how I phrase it and I feel like there has to be a better way, or someone has already done it.

What I am trying to do is provide clients a configurator, probably not the right term, where they can tell us the make of a vehicle by click on one of five logos/dropdown selectors, the model (same selector type), the year (same selector type), and the use case (Probably industries via small graphic button or selector if needed) in a kind of click your way through questionnaire. That would then send them to the appropriate product package based on their criteria they provided to us in that process

Does something like this exist?
