App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
Hi all,
I'm a Shopify developer, and our client has a specific problem. They would like for their contact form, to have a drop down field, allowing you to pick a different department emails to whom to sent yours from the contact form.
I have been reading the Shopify documents, and form what I have gathered, there isnt any way we can develop such functionality. So a month ago, I have only found one app - "Easy Contact Form by ndnapps" that could make that for me. But sadly Shopify informed us they are removing that app form their store for "violating our policy". So Im struggling to find another app that can do that for me.
Any dev advice or app recommendation is welcome.

I've scoured through the Shopify app store to find a few app options that mention they support multiple recipient email addresses. Feel free to check them out:

While finding app or custom solution is one way for sure. may I suggest a smart hack you can do, you can add a custom fields in the form to select the department and the email can then be applied a forwarding rule within your email client based on presence of particular content.

I tried to add this custom field into the code but it showed up on my website saying this. Then, I simply tried to replace "phone" in the contact form with "subject" and it shows up like this. Then, I can re-direct emails with the subject like you suggested.
Any suggestions would be helpful.
