Convert existing products to bundles (no third party apps)

We would like to use Shopify Bundles, but have the following problem:
1. We have 300 products online that are Sets and Bundles but managed by the Gazebo Bundles App (not the Shopify Bundles solution).
2. The new Shopify Bundles solution lets you create new bundles easily, but not to retrospectively "convert" existing products to a Shopify Bundle.
3. So, we are basically forced to delete all set/bundles and re-create them again by using the Shopify bundles app (a terribly high admin and most importantly we will loose all indexed google links).
To summarize the problem: a retrospective conversion of existing products to Shopify Bundles is not possible.

My questions:
a) Would a change to Shopify Plus allow us to "convert" the existing products in the backend to Shopify Bundles?
b) Any other possibility you can think of as a solution?

Why we want to move away from third party apps:
Third party apps (such as Gazebo Bundles) treats virtual sets and bundles not as virtual stock but as real inventory, which distorts all kind of inventory analysis afterwards.

One example. A product set of 3-TShirts, consisting of 3-underlying product SKUs would be treated from the inventory perspective of third party apps as:
TShirt a: 1 Unit
TShirt b: 1 Unit
TShirt c: 1 Unit
Total on Stock 3 units
and the Set itself as inventory of 1 unit.  >>> here is the problem. Which only Shopify Bundles treats correctly (virtual inventory stock and not real stock).

All bundles third party apps double-count the inventory, a) once from the underlying product b) once from the set itself. Which then it becomes a nightmare for planning/ inventory counting and reporting.

Hello @ilukanov1980,

Answers to your questions are:
a) No
b) Possibly it's easier to use something like a csv export of a properly created new-bundle-type product and then fill the spreadsheet and import it to the store. Although, it's better to do by batches removing old bundles (let's say 10) and then import the csv with 10 that will use the same url keys/slags

Best regards,

Yes, seems like a solution. My biggest fear is loosing google links. Since first I need to delete the URL's and then use the same again.
