count of customers currently in checkout process bar - app or custom?

Hi guys,

I saw this bar with the "count of people currently checking out" (count is changing all the time)  at a checkout process and really liked it, would love to integrate it into my own shop,  does anyone know if this is an app or is it custom? also is there ways to have it just move in a certain count range or would it only show the actual count of current checkouts?
