Create a Gift Box/Hamper

I have a selection of gift boxes and I want customer to be able to select a gift box size. They then can add how many items they like according to the space available. so they should be able to see how much space is left when adding products to the box. I have dimensions of the box and all the products. 

I want to be able to create this i checked out few apps but it doesn't even left me add dimensions of the box and products and doesn't even show space availability. 

Can someone recommend an app that can do this or if this can be achieved by coding.

Unfortunately, this functionality is too specific to be covered by a ready Shopify app which covers your needs by default. You can use an existing app and extend its functionality to work for you or create a custom app.

I haven't seen an app that meets your needs, but I have found  a website that let's customers select a gift box size. They use Giftship: Gift Options & More.

Thank you so much I can see they do similar to what I want and I have tested out it is a bit pricy. 

Please do let me know if you come across any other apps similar to giftship I really appreciate the help.

Not sure with the app that offers limit to add as per the space available.

But it can be hardcoded where you can add the space using meta field to each product and the gift box will added as per the limit.

It might be challenging to find an app that meets your exact needs, so you may need to consider developing a custom app or looking for an alternative. However, the Easify Product Options app could be a partial solution. Here’s how you might set it up for your case 🤗:

• Install the app and create a new option set.

• Add the 1st option for Box Size selection using a suitable display type like Radio Button (e.g., size A, B, C). For each box size, estimate the maximum number of items that can be selected. For example, Box Size A is the smallest and allows up to 3 products, while Box Size C is the largest and allows up to 5 products.

• Add the 2nd option for selecting items if customers choose Box Size A, using Image Swatches. Add all available products for customers to choose from. Enable Multiselection and set the maximum number of options to 3, so customers can't select more than 3 items. Use Conditional logic to show this option only when Box Size A is selected. Link these options to the products you want customers to select.

• Duplicate the 2nd option and adjust it to create options for Box Sizes B and C, setting the maximum number of selections according to each box size.

• Add the option set to your custom gift box or hamper product then you're done.
