Create a store similar to hello fresh and blue apron

Hi

I'm working on creating a store similar to https://www.hellofresh.com/plans and https://www.blueapron.com/pricing. I've explored various apps and Shopify's native capabilities but encountered a challenge.

For those unfamiliar with Hello Fresh, they offer meal boxes with precise ingredient amounts for cooking multiple meals. In the first step, you choose the number of meals and people, setting the price. In the second step, you select meals based on the number of meals chosen in step one.

To handle the first step of selecting a plan, I created products with people and meal numbers as variants, enabling dynamic pricing. For the second step of choosing meals based on the selected plan, I used a box builder app.

Now, my question is how to connect these two steps or if there's an alternative solution for this scenario.

note: I cant use subscription apps because I'm not using one of the accepted payment gateways for that.
