Create custom text box and validate data product detail page

Hi!

I'm new to Shopify and I'm trying to figure out how to add text box in the product detail page and validate the values in the text box from my database.

This is something like Pincode checker , i was looking lot of blogs for creating custom app but i dont find anything related to frontend .
