Creating APP using Shopify Functions or Shopify Checkout UI extension 2023 (Checkout 2.0)

I am creating an shopify app which one of the task is to change the Product TITLE and variant TITLE or add some description dynamically based on the cart line items on the right sidebar of the checkout. Is there a way we can customise the cart items using shopify functions or checkout 2.0 UI? I checked the documentation and didn't find any of it. Hope you can help me on this! thanks!
