Cross between Variant and Related Product

I'm wondering if there's an app that is a cross between a variant and a related product.  Basically, we sell one style of bag. Different materials and colors and sizes, but the bag itself is the same shape, etc. If I put everything under variants, the catalog will only be like 6 bags that you can see, because everything else is only visible under variants. I want people to be able to click on ANY bag, and see all of the available colors in that same size and material. Or alternatively, see all the sizes that that color is available in.

For instance, if I have a black Microfiber bag, it's available in 5 different sizes, and maybe they decide the Medium is too big, and want a small. From the product page, I'd essentially like them to be able to just click on Small, and it will take them to the product page for the Small Microfiber bag instead. But if I just have one product page for Black Microfiber, it limits my catalog by only having 1 product page instead of all 5.

Essentially, I'd like it to be like Amazon, where  you click on the color swatch and it brings you to the product page for that specific product.

Here is a screenshot from my company's sister company in the UK. Their set-up is perfect.  It gives both the color options for every color in that Material and size, and also the size options for that specific color.

From what I'm seeing and reading, I don't think anything like that currently exists in the regular platform.  I was hoping an app was already out there that does this.  But if not, do I just need to hire an expert to get this figured out?

True that, such functionality is not possible to do with an app. This is possible with a custom solution. We have made similar solution here at Imagine Online store
