Cusmtom Apps migration to GraphQL

I am reaching out to seek community insights regarding the upcoming deadline on April 1st for migrating custom apps using the Products and Variants endpoints from REST API to GraphQL.
There seems to be some confusion on whether the REST API will continue to function after March 31st but will no longer be supported by Shopify, or if it will cease to work entirely.
Your view on this matter would be highly appreciated, as we need to understand the exact implications for our integration process.
