Customer-Facing Public App - Where to Start?

Hi folks!

I'm working on a visual search app (--> upload an image, get back the visually closest products). However, while merchant-facing apps and tools (Polaris, Admin API etc.) seem to be very well covered, I feel like there is a lack of learning resources for the kind of app I'm trying to work on (public, customer facing, working with store data).

If you know any blog-post, course, or YT-video that covers such kind of app development, feel free to share it! 🙂
