Customize customor account page

Hello guys
I was wondering if it was possible to customize the "my account" page for customers. So it gets more personalized?
I would like to add a menu on the left with the following contents:
My account
My details
My ordrers
Wishlist
Customer service
Log out
And also on the right side, I would like pictures with the same options like on the left just with pictures and the options under every picture. If you understand what I mean?

Or maybe there is a app for customizing customor account page?

I haven't come across an app like that, but I'm sure that you could do what you want. So right now, it looks like you'd have to hire someone to do some custom development for you.
