Designing App for Cart in Storefront2.0

Hello!

I am exploring a design for a Shopify app that would exist in the cart.

One question I had is:

• In the default Dawn theme for Storefront2.0, the cart exists as a standalone page with a standard format. I've noticed that in some Shopify stores, the cart exists not as a standalone page, but as a drawer instead. Assuming that both configurations of the cart were made with Storefront2.0, is it safe to assume that both will support app blocks?
