App reviews, troubleshooting, and recommendations
After February 2, 2025 the management of the Google Analytics tag is moving to Customer events and the app should be used instead. Check the pixel is set up and the account connected to the integration and to the app match.
I already set up Google Analytics 4 , what is this email from shopify
Hey Pakistanpowerto,
You got the email because you are currently using Online Store preferences for managing your Google Analytics 4. And recently there was a change in the PCI-DSS security standards on Shopify.
This just means you have to do the set up again from the Google & Youtube app, that's all. Ensure you do it before Feb 2, 2025 otherwise you will lose data or there will be a lot of data inconsistencies.

Hello , thanks for the reply
PCI-DSS security standards on Shopify. I am only using COD service , no credit or debit card, still again i have to set up google anayltics 4 ?
my website is doing in good SEO and searches are coming up , what i change something or do some thing wrong happens.
Yes you still have to.
GA4 tracking from Online Preferences will not work anymore. Which means even your COD orders won't get tracked. Also I assume you have already set up a custom pixel to track COD orders.
Also you are just setting up the tracking, this does not effect SEO or searches.
